What is a group?
A group consists of either 10 or more passengers from the same gateway to the same destination or 10 or more rooms at one hotel, on one booking number.

Some things to know about making reservations for a group:
Domestic reservations must include 10 or more passengers from the same originating city traveling to the same destination or 10 or more passengers from different originating cities traveling on the same transatlantic flight to a European destination.

Group Sales offers a free tour conductor space for every 20 paid passengers for domestic travel, 25 paid passengers for international travel and 40 paid passengers for all domestic Ski destinations! (Maximum 2 Tour Conductors per group. Tour Conductor pays airport taxes. Some package components, such as ski lift tickets, park admissions, and baggage handling are at additional cost. Some conditions apply. All passengers must travel on identical itineraries. Certain blackout dates for Tour Conductor may also apply.)

Group Sales can customize group travel and provide ready-made itineraries to certain destinations. For example, using the owner or a colleague as the organizer and/or leader, you can build an "adventure travel group" out of customers of a local sporting goods store.

Groups are attractive to consumers because they offer convenience and simplicity to people who may pride themselves on doing things on their own but don't have the time to tend to all the details needed for planning a trip. In addition, groups can provide companionship, security and education, such as a customized museum tour or other added values generally not available to individuals.

Additional benefits for group reservations:

• Rooms will be arranged as close as possible to other members of the group.
• Baggage handling at the hotel can be included for all Las Vegas hotels.
• Private transfers can be arranged for the group in most situations.
• Hotel check-in is more efficient and much faster when hotel is aware of a group reservation.
• In some instances with 20 plus passengers, group rooms can be requested with refreshments included at the airport.
